In a normal music festival, Trombone Shorty and his genuine New Orleans funk/R & B band, would have stole the show, and perhaps they did last Saturday at the Double Decker festival in Oxford, Mississippi. But the competition was hot! As one guy that was dancing next to me said, as we touched elbows, "You can't fake the funk." He was right, and Trombone shorty and his band were as funky as you can get! Along with Charles Walker, Karl Denison, Robert Randolph and others, it was an incredible day and night of music.
