This is a photo of two hummingbird moths mating. They actually flew by my head while attached and landed in this clumb of vegetation. I grabbed my camera and shot a few shots. This one really came out nice I think. I'd never seen anything like it before. I have a feeling this is a very rare photo.

I absolutely love hummingbird moths. They are one of the prettiest creatures in flight. They look like a cross between a hummingbird and a bumblebee, except that they are actually moths. We have a nice population of them around our place.
